5G not showing

I have an IPhone 12 phone which is 5G capable.  I am in a 5G cell zone in downtown Winnipeg, but only have LTE showing.  I signed up for 5G, but only get LTE.  I have checked settings menu but cannot get it to show up.  Any thoughts on how to fix?
