Wrong MEID number

I recently switched from Chatr to Public, and when activating I entered the wrong MEID number. My number won’t transfer until that number is corrected. How do correct this?

Switching to public mobile

Can I get Public Mobile through Walmart in Bowmanville, ON? On the spot will they be able to port my existing # and use a referral code given to me? What info do I need to bring to do this? Thanks.
