Is there any way to confirm a Telus landline number can be ported to PM ? I tried with another provider and discovered after SIM and airtime purchases that they couldn't do it (despite promising they could initially)
Can a single phone/account have two numbers associated with it ? Searching the forums and couldn't find a clear answer (not using a dual SIM phone).
Thx ...

@Niall99 It should mean that a number can also be ported to Public Mobile but if it says it can't then you know there's potentially a problem. No you can't port between PM accounts but the test thinks you're porting to Koodo so it would show PM numbers as eligible to port. I don't know of any other way to try to find out if a landline number can be ported other than maybe ask customer support.

That specifies porting to Koodoo, is there full overlap between PM and Koodoo ? I also noticed every number I tried was possible, including PM numbers which I've read elsewhere can't be ported between PM accounts so a little suspicious it isn't another marketing device ... 😉

@Niall99 You can use this tool to check porting eligibility

Yes you can port your landline number over to PM.
Here are the detail instructions (refer to #2 that it may take 3 days to complete the porting) on PM website:

Unfortunately you can’t have 2 lines on 1 account. You will need a second email address for the second line…1 email/1 account.
Since you don’t have dual SIM. It can be done on new phones with 1 SIM & 1 eSIM. For older phones without eSIM compatibility or non-dual SIM. You will need a second phone with a second SIM. Activation of SIM can only be done on the PM app on each phone.
