I got my teen a simple package with a e-SIM thinking it would work but his phone is too old (mine previously). I just bought a regular SIM at Telus, it's now in the phone, but when I try to activate the package, Public Mobile keeps on telling me that I have to contact Support because my phone doesn't support e-SIM: how can I go back and just change the option to regular SIM in the package?

You will need to contact PM. Us the orange chat bubble on the bottom right. Type in customers service agent

since the esim was not installed, I do not think you can update the sim to physical sim with the sim card number yourself via My Account. So, you need support to help with that. Please engage them by direct message:
