@sralphy international texts will only work while you are in Canada, nowhere else. You would need a Canada-US-Mexico plan for you to be able to send texts back to Canada or to the US and even within Mexico (while there)

@Janetbmac outside of Canada, Public Mobile only has roaming for USA and Mexico. You will need to either get a travel eSIM, a local SIM to the region you are visiting, or rely on Wifi
