Public mobile internet speed

I recently changed my operation from Fido to public mobile and I have got 5g speed, but it's more likely 4g when I'm using it, even when it shows 5g+, my phone is brand new and I'm using E-SIM, I want to know if anything that I can do to speed up?

I subscribed to this plan and the description left me confused, (ie; Unlimited Canada an US wide minutes and messaging...) Does this plan in fact include unlimited phone calls from Canada to the US.

How do i tell if my phone number transfer is working?
