Plan Clarification

Hi there 

There seems to be various responses, so I'd like to hear from those who have called the US and have roamed in the US in the past few weeks with this plan.

I'm contacting you for clarification on the following plan: Canada-US Only Plan for $34 for 5G of 50GB

It states "Unlimited Canada and US wide minutes and messaging plus unlimited international text and picture"

But the Offer Details state:  
"1 Roaming applies outside of Canada.
2 Long distance rates apply to calls made from Canada to outside Canada."

a Can you please clarify if I will be charged for roaming calls and texts and data in the United States, and
b Will I be charged from calling to Canada to the US?
c When do the minutes and data refresh? (every 30 day billing cycle or 90 days?)

$34 50GB ca/us plan is unlimited calls and messages from Canada and US, free roaming.

no charges for calling Canada or US from Canada or US.

data is limited to 50GB per 30 days, you will not able to use data once you consume all of the 50GB

basically it is all free, you use your plan in US just like you are in Canada, No extra charges

the $34 plan is a 30 days price, refresh every 30 days.  But voice is unlimited, so you don't really care that, just data matters for refresh

Ignore that stuff. Public Mobile places that on everything. It's such poor communication really.

I've had this plan and used it a lot. I was in the US and made a ton of calls to friends and family in the US and also back home to Canada. I also used FaceTime a lot while in the US. Enjoy it!

NO you will not be charged for roaming. Using it anywhere in Canada and the US. 

b Will I be charged from calling to Canada to the US?

NO. You can use it as much as you like calling from Canada to the US and US back to Canada

30 day cycle, not 1 month.

a, you won't be charged to use voice/text/data in US at all

b, free, you won't be charged calling from Canada to US.  You can also call free from US to US and Canada

c, 30 days for most plan. There are some plans that are 90 days.  If your plan didn't say 90 days, it is 30 days.  And the $34 /50GB is 30 days plan, so it refreshes every 30 days
