Resolved! Paid for second add on but no longer have phone service

I am in the US. Before leaving I paid for 15 days and the service was fine. On the 16th day I paid for another add on of 15 days. I can text but can't call to Canada. I have powered my phone off and on and have toggled the airplane mode on and off.
