Short changed on data

The data which was included in my old plan that was re-newed Oct. 1 was used all in the same day according to the system, therefore sending me a text that my data was used the same day as the re-newal, WTH 2Gb in less than 24hrs.

Just wondering, who else likes to 'restrict' their data usage for the first 2 months just so that they can disable wifi in the last month? I like have 6 gb (started with 12gb) left and 19 days to go  I wish I could carry unused data over indefinitely...
