Don't you need someone from public to do sim swap, i.e. you can't get a generic sim from a store or amazon?Or does the app handle all that even if you plug in a brand new blank sim?

Resolved! My number has been silently changed

I recently transferred my number from Fido to PM, ordered new SIM, and it worked well at the beginning. Surprisingly my original 416 number disappeared and now I see completely random 647-xxx-xxxx number on my profile.Please help.
