Hello,
I have 300 international long distance minutes but Public mobile won't let me make a call to the US, says I don't have minutes.
Please help.

to ask PM to help to switch, Just open ticket with them using the Orange Chatbot icon on lower right, start typing Submit ticket, choose Contact Us and then follow the screen to login and submit ticket

to call US , you need the $15 - 1000 US Long Disstand minutes and not the 300 International one
if you just got it, ask support agent to help switch for you
please submit a ticket with CS Agent using this Chatbot link: https://widget.telus.tiia.ai/publicmobile/publicmobile.html Type the question "Submit ticket", Then click the following in order: "Contact Us" , "Other", "Log In".

or a free way to call US is to download the VoIP app TextNow to call US for free using the app

you got the wrong addon, the International one is not for you to call US. There is a specific one to call US instead. you need to login to buy the correct one or ask PM to switch it for you
