Plan didn't change yet was still charged for new plan

We recently switched my wife's and my account to the new 12gb+6gb plan we got billed properly for it however it kept us on out current 30 day billing cycle vs new 90 day...so our accounts show the 30 day cycle paid and avail 114 and 106 respectfully....
