Ported number - cannot make or receive calls

I recieved a notification saying that the port was successful. However, i cannot make any calls or recieve any calls. Only texts and data work. Does this mean i just need to wait a bit long, or there is something wrong with the number being ported?

Phone calls not working

When trying to make local phone calls it says it is long distance and am unable to make the call. Incoming calls are also not working. Texts still seem to work.  I am new with public mobile and don’t know how to get help. thank you.
