30 vs 90 day plans

Hello Fellow PM people, Are there any savings on 90 days plan? When I did the math it seems it's more expensive. 30 days plan. $40 for 5GB on 3G90 days plan: $135 for 15GB on 3G ($45/month).  Why would I want to pay more to get the 90 days plan?
