If you go to Public Mobile's website and select "Plans" you are greeted by this text: "Create Your Plan Looking for $40/month talk, text and 2G of data? Click here and check out our 90 day plan." From comments I've seen on message boards and articles, this confuses some people.  With the promo last November, the text was the same except that it said "4G of data" which some people misread as "4G data" and took to mean Public Mobile only offered HSPA+ as that's sometimes (incorrectly) referred to as 4G.  Some carriers, such as Chatr, offer you 3G-only data in exchange for price reductions, so some people are looking for a data 'catch' as to why Public Mobile is cheaper and misread that as 2G data, instead of 2GB of data.  By changing "2G" to "2GB" it would clear up any potential confusion, and all it would take is adding a single character.  Well, two if you rendered it grammatically correct by adding a space between them (ie. if your payment is going to span from whichever date you start to the date you finish as it sort of does, then put up a calender where even if you missed your due date, you can put in the new date, especially when you want to change the plan, I know they dont change the plan when you are late, I just discovered that, but you should change that, because my bank statement shows money due, when all I wanted to do was put money on this month, but guess what, my phone is not even working,  Not everybody has money at the same time each month.  ... Hi, some functions of the site are not easy to find. For instance, I have to go to Add-ons to find stuffs like My Profile, Payment, Plan, Rewards, Lost/Stolen Phone, Change Phone number, etc. I think that it would be more intuitive to put those functions under My Account, rather than under Add-Ons > Purchase Add-ons >, which doesn't make sense to me. I believe that the site structure should be re-evaluated and changed. What do you think? ... View more

Hi, eventually, I would like to change my phone number. Right now, I have 5 choices in a little window. I go there all the time to see what new numbers have been added. I want to do that to pick a number that I like. It would be much more convenient to have all the phone numbers available by province. Instead of or in addition to 10 day roaming add-ons for the US (e.g. talk, talk + text, data) why not create 1, 2, 3 week or 1 month add-ons?   10 days seems to be a slightly arbitrary number of days. And why not give users better value if they are traveling for longer?   I'm going to the US for just over 3 weeks. I will be spending 2 days relaxing before heading to a campsite retreat where no phones are allowed. So I will be only able to use my roaming add ons for 2/10 days. But a month long add on could offer me better value. Also I won't have the hassle of having to renew the add on while I'm enjoying my time away. ... View more

The page said to "contact us" at a broken link if one was a current koodo customer. So, I am unsure if my account was created or if the payment went through. One of the most annoying things in Public Labs (and it has become worse with new board) is multiple repeats of same idea.   Person 1 suggests X gets 3 bravo Person 2 suggests X gets 5 bravo So it looked like idea was not popular when in reality there are multiple threads splitting the vote   We should have some way to cross link or combine threads which obviously are the same It is bad enough in main forums but in Public Lab it is really bad   Even give us a box to click for duplicates and link to original or something   ... As more carriers shift to supporting RCS messaging on Android, Public Mobile should do this as well. Not sure if Telus has said anything about it yet, but it's coming to Rogers and Fido. Right now it doesn't seem like you can view usage by type (voice, text, data, etc.), just itemized by date/time instead. It would be nice if, like other Telus brands and other carriers, you could view voice calls for a certain time period, texts for that time period, data usage, etc. broken down in a better format. Being able to export this to CSV/spreadsheet would be nice as well. While it wouldn't have any direct benefit to customers with unlimited calling in the first place, it would provide useful reports that we could generate and better illustrate usage.   Thanks for consideration. ... I was thinking, when PM finally gets the full reins of the system and have figured how to keep the glitches in check, what If PM created a SPECIAL Promo, One that requires PM Clients to compete, for 3 Special promos 1st place might get 1 Year of their plan free 2nd place, 180 days free 3rd place, 90 Days   OR,   perhaps something like this   1st place, Lets say their plan was $150 on 90 day, 50% off for 1 year 2nd place, 50% for 180 Days 3rd place, 90 Days   Just something that may serve as something that PM Clients must demonstrate certain criterias, like finding glitches and letting PM Mods know, or helping marathon, something that is meaningful, community helping and inspiring   What's your take on a potential BOLD proposal? ... When I was looking at my Self-Serve Portal, I can say that the Rate it displayed for my 90 Day plan is possibly giving incorrect rate, and the Transaction payment history is very confusing   I think PM needs to revamp and overhaul to make much more consise and easier to understand, I was so confused I was racking my brain and the #'s don't add up   If rate for Unlim Can-US Talk+Global Txt+6 GB Data is listed at $150 how is it $101?   Just saying that I want to pay what I owe, Not OVERPAY or UNDERPAY, BUT Pay what is the actual fee   I also think the Transaction Payment history needs to be fixed, I couldn't make sense of it ...
