Suggestion for point #1:Enter 4GB for the first month. Any remainder add to the data allotment for the second month, and repeat for the third. Should work on any OS.

No. You can only make and receive calls if you also sign up for a calling plan, or purchase a calling booster.

Since you've just done it, give it at least 48 hours. Often the problem is the system updating your account, rather than it accepting or processing the payment. A lot of the time, simply waiting 48 hours is the fix.
