I think we need to add the Live Chat in here, cuz some people having troubleshoot and need to get an answer right away instead waiting for mod to reply back for so long. Many company already have Live Chat in their website.
There are many threads in the Public Lab about live chat. After my experience with Telus "Live Chat" I can't say it is any better then what we have here now. Over 3 days I was in queue for over 14 hours trying to get a solution for my issue. Live chat does not mean better service, but it will mean higher monthly costs. Public Mobile isn't for everyone and you really must know what you are getting into before signing up and also be able to handle some disuption of serice as it "may" happen. I am not saying it will but you must beready for that. That is why this is a barebones service provider offering amazing price points. All I could see for improvement is longer hours to help the people out on the West Coast a bit more.
I agree with Shawn, Live chat means more costs which will end up passed on to teh customers. Most people are here becasue of the price point. we give up a little on service side. the mods are great and usually can handle most issues pretty quick. type your question, wait a little as community members will try to help, or will tag a mod, or mods will answer, all teh while you are doing other things rather than getting fustrated trying to talk to a live agent
There seems to be an almost-live chat available? There is a question mark in a bubble in the bottom right of my screen allowing me to contact a moderator. How does that work?
@sbranden that's not actually to contact a moderator, that's to contact Simon, the PM Chatbot! He can answer some simple questions but is definitely not a replacement for communicating with a moderator in most cases.
