Good Day All,    This will have some technical garble in it   I really think that Public Mobile should really invest in upgrading the My Account Self Service User Interface to Bootstrap 3, with a streamlined clean interface with better functionality.   Things like Exporting Call Logs, Data Logs, and being able to sort only one of the other. Generation of invoices for download, Billing history and more. The self serve is very bogged down and not very mobile friendly, Using Bootstrap would allow for a better user experience in both desktop and mobile, with most people opting to use mobile i would assume.   This is one thing i feel will improve user experience, and bring Public Mobile into Today with things that have been missing up until this point.    Public Mobile:  UI/UX design needs to be updated to be more user friendly so that the experience for users can improve and bring mobile access to the my account in a better user experience, along with other feature requests that i have noiced everyone has been asking for, creating multiple "idea's" in the public lab for things like exporting/generating invoices, call history, data history and more.  This is something that investing in now will help in the future as public mobile becomes larger and has an increase in customers. since the most of problems that people have it is just at begining of activiation and porting their old account to pm. it is really frustaed when there is no real people can help at the moment. it is recommend to have phone no to contact just aviable for new activiation or real chat on web for new activiation , first image it is important. the first experince is impact on the business. that is why there is someone want to get out even though they like the promo plan however they are too frustated by having problem of activiate their sim card and get charge but the phone still is not working or working properly. it really turn away alots of people. mod really has to be there just for new activiation account at moment they need help since there are large amount of exist problems people have. no wait to should be here. at present, we can't live without phone especailly lots of people need phone for their work. how can they be able to allow their phone to be not working for more than one min? phone is our second hand, we need it badly. we need it to be work all the time badly. otherwise we can't be living normal and get frusted easyily especailly we paid for it.  ... I feel like bringing friends and family to Public Mobile would be a lot more successful if it provided a reward for the friend/family member and not just the person recommending it. Something simple like $5 or $10 off their first bill could provide more incentive than just: "oh if you join public mobile I'll get a dollar off my bill but there's no benefit for you." ... Hi..   if rewards are based on community support ( bravos etc. ) i think it's time to overhaul this system as it can be easily fooled.... example: if i have 4 lines and 4 accounts but only use 1 user id to actually post /help others, i can use my other 3 to give myself one bravo after the other bringing myself up in the ranks in a hurry thus earning potentially undeserved rewards... i have seen that now a few times with people, who are just 1 week with PM but are already in the top 5 or so with very little posts but tons of bravos...   or:   a post like "hi xxxxxx great post" suddenly receives 5-10 bravos without any merrit or info to it.....   just a "food for thought" ..   cheers ... Would love to have Visual Voicemail or Voicemail to Text option added in the future - that's definitely something I miss (using the archaic voicemail system is sooo slow).   The cost of implementing it will likely pay for itself by making it a paid plan addon. ... View more

As someone whose service has been suspended three times due to future-dated plan change errors, I would like to suggest phones that are suspended, at the very least, still permit incoming calls for "x" number of days - giving Public mobile time to sort out the issue without completely compromising what may be the only form of communication for some clients.   I understand that paying the difference and waiting for a credit is a temporary solution, however, I don't feel that's something that one should "have" to do because of Public Mobile error. ... Hi,   People who have problem post on discussion without tagging a amoderator or tagging multiple moderators. Tagging multiple moderators would be annoying for moderators and tagging backlogged moderator would annoy client due to longer waiting time.   Why doesn't PM generate a general tag for moderator like @mod or @moderator so that everyone who needs help can stay on queue in order? ... I was talking to a relative, and I thought PM needs to add more Data Options for 30 Days too   What if they also had a 6, 9 GB Data as well, that may prove to be as lucrative too.   There are ppl who ONlY want 30 day cycle, and use Data a lot, and may Prefer ONLY Data Plans and NOT Necessarily Add-Ons Data   What IF PM created a UnLim Prov-Wide+ Global Txt+6 GB for $60 Make 4GB version $50, 9GB version $65   Can-Wide+ Global Txt+6GB $75 4GB version $70 9GB version $80   Maybe that can create some interesting Formulas, just saying, Some PPL may wish some Flexibility here and there, Not saying fees Dirt cheap, BUT a Fair price Value, Middle of the ground approach   If PM were to do that, IF PM let's Say, Created a 90 Day Unlim Can-Wide US L-D+ Global Txt+9 GB and fee was, $176, I'd be willing to pay for that, Would be a Killer, Fair, Honest Value that PPL can't Ignore, adds Sacramento Value and Bang and Zing for Big Bucks   If I have to say, 30 Day, Data should be 1,2,4,6,9GB   90 Day  9, 12, 15 & 18 GB Maybe add 6GB if warranted, just saying, PPL will go Absolutely Nuts with Love and Honey if PM made some Fascinating Data Tweaks   Also, Please bring Back 500 MB Data Add-Ons, and maybe a 750 or 800 MB Data Add-Ons as well Please? ... Why not sell the SIM cards through a vending machine placed at major malls, telus offices/stores, and/or at points of entry like the Airport (particulary when you start taking international credit cards)? This would provide another option for those intersted in trying your service, but don't want to wait for mail delivery. ... View more

I just switched to Publc Mobile and I was in disbelief when I saw that in order to have an invoice generated for you (for business or tax purposes for example), you need to e-mail PM or message a PM mod to get one. I was told there can be a 30 day delay to get an invoice. Surely that can't be more financially sensible than just having a system that automatically generates invoices when you consider the labour spent by these mods and PM customer service agents generating invoices.  ... Think about this Most of the issues we see are related to plan changes. People complaining about double billing Future plan changes not completing Even worse, future plan changes invalid because when your date comes the plan is no longer in system (rememeber the summer problems)   My solution is allow immediate plan changes   If I paid $120 for the 6GB plan and it expires in Dec, why wait for the bug It is same price as the $120 12GB plan so let us switch today and RENEW in Dec   As long as plan you wish to change to is equal to or less than existing plan, let plan change through and KEEP existing renew date   ... I've been trying to switch over completely to PM for a week but my PM SIM doesn't recieve calls or voicemails or texts. Data works but that's it. If I don't get this sorted in the next four days I have to pay for two phone bills and I'm getting sick of switching Sim card a out and missing all my calls. @Brooke_C @Dave_M @Mary_M   Perhaps a hotline/instant chat service for new customer? Maybe for the first 7 days of activation/porting.   I understand that Public mobile has a self-serve model  and I think that for those who have their account set up and running, most of their questions/issues would work well with the post a message/ pm mod practice.   Public mobile should consider creating hotline/instant chat service for those who got stuck in activation and/or porting issue; at least have such service during promotion which generates a large number of new customers which you can almost certainly forecast a backlog issue. I do think that new customers with activation/porting issue do deserve faster response.   I understand that you do have a hotline for legacy/pioneer customer, perhaps consider opening this up for activation and porting issue for new customer as well, let say for the first 7 days of activation. While giving SIM cards away for free reduces upfront costs for new customers, unused SIMs represent an added cost. Those wasted SIM cards go counter to the lower cost structure that sets Public Mobile apart, and could get in the way of offering more cost effective plans.    My proposal is to link SIM cards purchased by existing customers to their phone number or account, as part of the Refer a Friend program. When the friend activates the card, they get $5 off their first payment as a welcome bonus, and the existing customer who refered them gets $1 off every month his friend stays with Public Mobile (as they currently do). This way unused SIM cards would not present an added cost for Public Mobile, they would present an opportunity.    I believe existing customers would be more motivated to sell people on Public Mobile and to have SIM cards readily available for them, knowing that when the SIM gets used the Refer a Friend program would kick in automaticaly (the site would have no need to even ask who referred them, it would know based on the SIM Card#). Of course nothing would stop an existing customer from asking for $5 up front to mitigate any risk. The new customer would still save $5 when they activate, and wouldn't have to wait to receive a SIM Card in the mail. If an existing customer decided to give the SIM Card for free, the new customer would then save $10 all together ($5 from not having to buy a SIM card themselves, plus another $5 when they activates it). I was thinking, what IF PM did this?   For the TOP, TOP, TOP 3-5 contributors, Different from Oracles, WHAT IF PM had a PM Mod's Badge for meeting certain criterias   Like have a @Jeremy_M, 1st, @Shazia_K, 2nd, @Mary_M, 3rd, @Caroline_D, 4th, @Saray_O, 5th,   And Special rewards that go with them   Also, what if PM had rewards and Badges that are reserved for Yr end, like a @Mansi_G, @Caroline_B, @Moid_I, @Lachlan_M, @Mat_F, something that sybolizes what WE, the PM Guest Clientele, can do to offer the best advice, and upholding the EXCELLENCE, of Public Service for ALL our Fellow PM Members, something I was thinking, perhaps something like this can serve as a TRUE testament   Even have a @Martin Badge and Reward too, IN Honour of such a tremendous person who went beyond the call of duty. ... Currently, when switching plans at Public Mobile, customers need to choose whether to have the plan change take effect immediatley or at the time of next plan renewal.  The problem with that is the fact that any plan change made to take effect immdiately will make the subscriber lose any money that is paid for the current plan.   My idea is for Public to elimiate the future dating of plan changes, and for for Public Mobile's billing computer to prorate the old plan and credit the account and apply that returned balance immdeiatley to the new plan  It i doesn't even have to be overly coimplicated; if half the month of the old plan is unused, then half the price of that plan should be returned to the account balance.  There doesn't even need to be proration on the new plan and it can take effect immediately at the full length of time (ie. 10, 30, or 90 days), and that way, the data amounts don't need to get prorated either.   I fully expect somone to say prepaid = no refunds, etc.  But what I am proposing is for that this prorated plan credit to only apply when a customer changes plans.   It would increase customer satiisfaction as customers who activated a different plan by mistake or have just changed their minds don't have to forfeit the price paid for the current plan, or be forced to wait until the next plan renewal.   It would also eliminate the future dating plan change at next renewal bug that causes plans to not change properly or for accounts to go into non-payment suspension.  Not needing to deal with those errors would reduce Public's support costs.   Customers would get to enjoy and make full use of the new plan immdiately, and it wouldn't really be costing the company any money because the customer isn't cancelling the service, but rather just changing plans. ...
