Hello,   I propose that Public Mobile offer the ability to create a plan that consists of 'Add-ons' only, doing away with restrictions like requiring a talk plan in order to add international/US minutes.   For instance, there are those who do not need unlimited talk or unlimited text but require only basic amounts.   An Add-on Only plan might consist of selecting the base plan (10/30/90 days) and paying a fee for that, then adding the talk (like 400 international/US long distance minutes, which can be used Canada-wide as well), adding a text add-on (which currently doesn't exist, but for sake of argument let's use $10 for 1000 texts world-wide), and adding a data add-on like 1 GB for $30.   This way, those who wish to have a very basic plan can do so while allowing some talk/text/ and data which rolls over and never expires.   As a further example, let's say this was possible with current pricing, I would select the 90 day plan and use add-ons for talk/text/ and data. My total plan costs would look something like this:   $25 - 90 Day Base Plan fee $15 - Add-on 400 minutes International/US (and can be used for Canada-wide calling) that rolls over $30 - Add-on 1 GB Data that rolls over $10 - Add-on (that doesn't exist) 1000 Texts Worldwide.   Initial cost - $80, but only $25 every 90 days for the base price, then top up the talk/text, and data as necessary which may be longer stretches than 90 days.   Thoughts?   Mike   ... PM staff... I understand the point on the questions the site asks when you try to "Contact Us" however with all the small issues on the site, an "Other question" that skips straight to the email form would be great. I spent 10 minutes trying to find the right issue to make sure it went to the right dept, and in the end I gave up and just sent it with the hope whoever got it would forward it to the right person. When you are having problems and a website is giving you the run around... it just fans the flames. ... Hello, All times currently displayed in Usage History lack AM and PM. If I am reviewing my Usage History from a day or two ago, I can recall if a call at 9:30 occurred in the morning or evening. Since Usage History dates back 90 days, I find it impossible to determine if an event, or a series of events, took place in the AM or PM that far back. If you would like to see AM and PM added to all times in Usage History, I am requesting your support for this proposal. Have noticed several new customers making errors in plan selection, buying add-ons without calling plans, upset with lack of phone support, why doesn't my phone work on PM, etc.   These would decline if potential customers were required to complete a questionnaire similar to the one I saw during my Beta wait for a SIM BEFORE getting to the SIM order page. ... I would like to suggest that at least for the 90-day plans, PM should increase the max data one can purchase from 12GB to 15+GB or higher without raising the prices.  I think its reasonable given that the customer is already making a pre-paid commitment for 90 days into the future.   ... View more

I recently tried signing up to PM and sadly I am one of the unlucky people whom are stuck in limbo due to a error in payment processing. Anyways, I have been emailing support for the past couple of days and am frustrated about hte lack of response. I think it would be great if they added a simple "Email a Copy" to your email option on the support/complaint email for PM.    It would give us a little more patience knowing that we have something timestamped in our Inboxes and that when we need to go refer to what we previously wrote we can easily do so.    Honestly, aside from the hassle, I think what PM is doing is a big step forward for Canadian mobile telecomunications. I would like to suggest a bank ATM-like self-serve computer terminal in various locations where cutomers can process new sim card requests and then the terminal would dipense a sim-card.     This is ideal for those who loose their phone or damage their sim card.. they can go to a terminal near them and pick up a new sim.  As we all know, right now it could take a week or more to    Also, Tourists would pick up the sim-card with 10-day plan, etc.     ... I was just thinking it would be a great idea to have a warning or something as a pop-up or otherwise indicated when people with older AutoPay setups configure their plan to change as of their next billing date.   I ran into a situation where I changed my plan as of my next billing date, and I expected AutoPay to take out whatever it needed for the new plan, but it was still stuck on the $45 debit for my old plan, so it flipped me to the new plan but since I didn't have enough in the account to pay for it my service was "Expired" and it made for a more stressful than necessary morning.   It could really be made clearer to folks on the old AutoPay that they need to cancel and re-enroll to smooth their plan change transition, since I bet a lot of us will be moving to the new 90 day plans. ... There are ppl who may only do textings, But SOMETIMES require Talk Mins for Small Stuff   IF PM offered Mins Talk Add-On, PPL who only require it for JUST small items, like Telephone Banking, or Occasional Hello's, Offering this can certainly assist in retaining the Long-Term Loyalty of ppl who only want what They Absolutely need, and Require SOME Flexibility to remain with Carriers for periods of time ... Edit: @Mansi_G pointed out that this idea already is possible. "The original poster of the topic can change the solution at anytime by going to Options and mark a already Accpeted Solution as "Not a solution" and then mark another post as an Accepted Solution."     This is related to the forum. I really think there should be a way to change the accepted solutions.   Having it locked in place on makes sense for things that are concrete and easy to know you've got a solution to. (Eg. My phone no longer works and now it does) BUT in many cases the solution isn't so concrete and new information might come up. Maybe someone's first response seemed logical and it gets accepted but someone else actually knows more and has a better solution.   As the forum seems to be intended as an archive to help people when they run into trouble it would be good to have the ability to correct. ... This is a companion idea to the one @kav2001c just put up here but I think Simon should often give a link in it's options to send the query to a community search.   From reading the regular forum posts, it seems many people don't want to do a search before posting and although they may as not be using Simon either, the people who do might not think to search the community even for a question Simon thinks it nailed. Like I asked about roaming to a country that isn't the US and it gives me all this info on US roaming. If the extra options afterwards were like "Search the community" or something, they might see an answer before posting about it. ... View more

At the moment, you can only subscribe to individual discussion threads. It would be very helpful to be able to subscribe to specific areas of the community, NOT using RSS feeds,  e.g. Discussions, Plans & Add-ons, or especially Announcements, etc.   I know this is a third party forum tool but please see about having this functionality added.   P.S.
