Hey,

Just wondering if there could be any way that public mobile subscribers who have some app building experience could volunteer to build and maintain an open source mobile app to help track data and usage. It could come in handy.

if you are looking to track data  datawitness (android) and mydatamanager (apple and android) are both popular options

Sorry, it's a great idea but PM/Telus is not interested in our assistance in creating, or debugging, apps or system changes.

There is already as mentioned by @mimmo above, a fantastic data tracking app written by @IWIK, a member or our community.  It’s for Android only, but terrific at what it does.

Having an app for Windows 10 (PC and Phone) and Android Phone would be nice to have.

This app could be extended to have access to your account options, plan info, minutes and data used, call/sms history, and a link to the community forum. Only select few wireless carriers in Canada have an app available.

@Cubkegger not open sourced, but community member @IWIK built just such an app that he shares freely with PM customers.  Please see here for more info.
