HI @Ab50 Please note not all counties are available for calling from PM Long distance addon.
PM Long distance add-on only covers the following countries:
U.K.
U.S.
China, Hong Kong, Macau and Taiwan
India & Pakistan
International long distance Add-On included countries: Australia, Austria, Bangladesh, Brazil, Chile, Colombia, Czech Republic, Denmark, France, Germany, Greece, Iceland, Ireland, Israel, Italy, Japan, South Korea, Malaysia, Mexico, Netherlands, New Zealand, Norway, Peru, Poland, Portugal, Puerto Rico, Romania, Singapore, Spain, Sweden, Thailand, Venezuela. Calls must originate from Canada.
If the countries you want to call is not on the list, you will have to use Calling cards or Skypes instead

The easiest thing to do is to first try calling the International destination to see if you might already have that location country as part of an add-on in your account.
If you don't, follow the other user's instructions on how to select and purchase the add-on you need.

Note that purchasing an add-on is a two step process. You should be able to use it instantly.
1-First you need to add the $ to your account and
2-then add the add-on to your account. You may need to go back to add this.
Don't forget to restart your phone.

If you don't have an international calling add on then peruse the list of countries and the different add ons to see if the country(s) you want to call are on the list. Some add ons have only one country (ie. US) while others have a few and finally the $15/300 minute one has a whole bunch of countries you can call. Once you decide note the cost of the add on.
If you don't already have available funds in your account balance then go to the payment page and add a manual payment by choosing other and add the funds you need to top up your account to purchase the add on. Confirm and submit your payment. The top up payment will appear in your available funds.
Go back to the plan's and add ons page and select the international calling add on you wish to purchase by ticking the box. Then scroll down and confirm and submit your payment to purchase the add on. Go to your overview page and you will see it appear at the bottom left under my plan and add ons.
Unless you have the holiday 500 min of international long distance add on given away at Xmas by pm then you will see it in the same section at the bottom left of your overview page. If that is the case you can just try calling the country you wish and if pm offers calling to that destination your call will connect....if it doesn't then your call will not connect.
If you don't see the country you wish to call on any list then you will have to consider other calling options like online calling apps or international calling cards available at your local market or corner store.

@Ab50 Did you receive your free holiday gifts of data and LD international mins over the last couple of years (you've been registered 2020 according to your profile). If the country you are calling is on that list then just make your call to see if it connects.

You have to buy add-on. Not all world countries are covered by long distance minutes.
