That's an excellent question. Given the amount of threads and posts and the often repetitive nature of questions asked it doesn't surprise me that many common threads have lower read numbers. Threads with a specific topic addressed will have much higher read numbers.
Otherwise there are about 30 regulars answering questions with a little social interaction mixed in....customers reading help articles etc.... those creating a support ticket and/or a private message to customer support or receiving support. Some members don't log out. The CSA 's are all logged in as well as a few Oracle's monitoring the forums. There is probably a few members monitoring for new members so they can spam them with their referral code despite it being against the terms of service and a few unsavory lurkers trying to capitalize on unsuspecting customers who reveal too much personal info and some Russian spammers telling you how to make 10K a week without leaving home......you know people doing stuff....🤔
