Hi,
I've had multiple lines with PM for a long time. My plan cost went up $7 per month when you cancelled my loyalty. I mean you cancelled my Loyalty discounts thereby cancelling my loyalty.
Last week I ported my son to an Annual Plan with a competitor. He'll ultimately pay about $12/month get a bucket of 30GB for the year and have unlimited calling. But it will be on the other major network.
I can switch with no qualms to another company under the same umbrella as PM and cut my personal costs below that price... Except that porting within your brands is a pain in the rump. So I can simply port out to the competition and pay less or I can ask you to work with me.
So simple question, can you place me on the $15, $19, or $29 plans or are you communicating you'd rather me port to a competitor? To me it is an either / or. Either you can offer me something better to stay OR you want me to leave PM (and probably the whole umbrella of companies).
(I've been downgraded to part-time for health reasons and my disability coverage ran out. I no longer need the same data bucket, as I am not doing remote support / on call. I'm not looking for sympathy. I want somebody in your management to realize that forcing customers to change SIMs and brands to get the best price is bad. Making it easier to switch to a competitor than switch under the T umbrella is worse.)

There are 2 or more Bonus codes...And provinces.
I wasn't sure I should mention details in the OP. It just happens to be a hassle to self Port with PM and their family.

My bad. You're correct. I had it set to Quebec by accident. LOL.

FYI @hairbag1 , they are no longer offering 2GB a month of bonus data. It's just unlimited talk/text for 1 year then can renew it for the same price the year after.
it's still showing as available on their website....although I don't know of anyone who's activated recently. My friend opted for it a week ago and got the data included.

Yes. This particular matter is actually up for debate with the CRTC. Check your inbox in the top right corner. I've sent you the link.

It seems like Telus wants to kill this brand. Sad, but the solution is to leave. Maybe leave for a year and see if they've improved around this time in 2025.

Unfortunately, the only way to get the inexpensive plans you would like to have is to change to a different provider. The company you are porting to is the only one that can help with porting away from Public Mobile.

@EversafeVictim what you saying is probably very much true for most people. Unfortunately, we are all customers like yourself and cannot assist with your request.
I will tell you that PM does not show loyalty to their clients. You can try to use the chatbot to create a ticket and ask the PM agent for assistance but highly unlikely they will assist.
Good luck.

@EversafeVictim here in the community forums there a no Public Mobile employees, only customers like you supporting each other but you should reach out to a support agent and let them know what's going on, they might be willing to work with you though in the past it seems like most customers are not able to downgrade plans other than what is offered to them through their account.

First @EversafeVictim
You have to realize we are all customers here. Nobody from Public Mobile here. And PM has been very strict about lowering price plans for people considering it's a "prepaid" service. Sadly, they won't do nothing for you. Check your box in the top right corner in a few minutes, I will share something with you.
