I transferred my number to Public Mobile from Bell and I can’t send or receive text messages and no IMessages as well. I submitted a ticket twice already and still no customer service agent has gotten back to me. So disappointing.

They just got back to me after 3 days of waiting. Thanks!

@Di003 Make sure to check for the agent's reply at the envelope icon top right of this page, or if there isn't an envelope then tap your avatar for Messages. If they reply and you don't respond within a certain period of time (24-48 hours I think) they'll probably close the ticket.

Messages are sent through the community. I made that mistake and waited for an email or call or something. They only communicate through the messaging on here. I submitted a ticket and they responded within 2 hrs. hope that helps.

If iMessages aren't working, you may need to go into your Messages and under Send and Receive, confirm the numbers is the same. Sometimes turning it off and on and rebooting helps. iMessages that is.

Data and voice works. I tried all the suggested solutions online except resetting my phone to factory setting which also I refuse to do.

hi @Di003 data works? voice calls work?
if so , go to iMessage sertings and remove the phone number and reboot phone. Then, go back iMessage sertings to put the phone number back to re register

Hello @Di003
If you place your Bell SIM card in your phone, do you still have service? If so your port may not have gone through and I can send you a number to call to resolve it. However, there are a few things to try out first.
Go into your network settings and reset your network settings and then reboot. If that doesn't work Take the SIM card out and try it in a different phone. If that works, it just means the card needed to be reprovisioned. Then you can place back in your phone.
And finally, CS Agent we've been told are up to date in their logs however with the number of complaints we've seen here on the forums of CS Agents not getting back in a timely manner, this doesn't seem to be the case. Sadly as a customer, I can not give you an ETA.
