Boxing Day $29/20GB 5G Can-US-Mex Plan Question

Hi Everyone,

I am currently on $34 50 GB Can-US plan and I would like to downgrade it to $29 20GB 5G Can-US-Mex Plan. How can I do it ? Just want to be sure before I try any change of plan. The downgrade option doesn't show up when I go to Change Subscription. However this new plan is available to new customers only. On searching the forum, I found some pointers where some of the members mentioned that we have to switch to another plan and change it. 

Can I achieve by following this ?

1) Change subscription $30 20GB Data at 4G Speed and then do another change to $29/20GB 5G Can-US-Mex ? Is this switching option available when I change subscription to $30 20GB Data at 4G Speed ?

Before the change I was able to see the $35 plan as I was on the $34 plan.  I never go over 5gb per month.  So this 20gb 4g plan will work fine as well.   Too bad I cannot go with the other 20gb plan.

@Anotherpaul778  So you just did immediate plan change to the $30 plan ? You should at least see the $35 75GB MEX roaming plan . And that's  awesome deal too just make plan change to it using change on renewal option . If you want that plan would be nice if it would work for the $29 plan but no one has confirmed that works it’s just to get the $35 plan

@hegdvin  Because it’s harder to downgrade plan price these days just upgrade plan price . pM outs targeted offers to existing customers despite what we see on the website . So you can only have to what you see available to you in your account . If you do immediate plan change to the $30 plan , you  won’t see the $29 MEX plan but you should see the $35 75GB MEX plan cable to make change to fit next renewal be the best deal you can get as existing customer . And that would be cheaper work around for one of the spatial boxing week plans then porting number out and back in on desired plan

@hegdvin   I haven't see anyone say that they downgraded to the $30 plan and then saw the $29 plan.  Where people have been doing this is to reveal the $35 plans.  Since Public Mobile has started limiting what plans we each see and it's not always the same, it's harder to go down a level in cost so unless someone has tried what you are suggesting and can comment there's no way to know if it would work.
