Since you've already gotten rid of your landline, you have a couple of options. You can either activate a new line in your wife's name and get a referral bonus, or activate the second line under your name. Some providers may offer the referral bonus for setting up a new line in someone else’s name, while others may allow you to get a bonus even for adding a second line under your account. It’s best to check with your provider to see which option will give you the bonus.

you'll need a unique email address to activate a new acct for wife. Gmail does support alias if you use gmail. (ie: DDD@gmail and DDD+1@gmail)

you cannot use your email to set a 2nd line. So, ask your wife to use your referral code, setup her line , she will get $10 one time and you get 1 point every cycle

The second line needs its own separate email address login and account. It does not matter whether it is under your name or your wife's.
When your wife signs up, make sure that she uses your referral code when activating her account. The new account will get $10 in available funds within 72 hours, while the referer will get 1 friend points/month as long as new account remains with Public mobile.
