Send-receive photos not working

dm250

Recently I have been unable to send or receive photos though text is OK. I have updated my APN settings,

re-booted the phone and tried everything else I could think of. Is there a solution?

My phone is Asus Zenfone ZB555KL with Andriod 8, about 4 years old.

Thanks

I have an UMIDIJI android phone.  Up until 2 days ago, I could receive and send photos through messages.  Updated a monthish ago, APN is correct.  Same phone same service in this household and their phone is working just fine.

I can receive photos through messenger (FB)  however,  in order to see the picture, I need to touch on it.

Thanks for your input

  (or try all upper case SP.MB.COM)

This did the trick. Thanks everyone.

@dm250, sounds like you will need to open a ticket through the Chatbot:
https://widget.telus.tiia.ai/publicmobile/publicmobile.html
(and then type: Customer Support Agent)

Or, if you are having trouble with the Chatbot try sending a private message to:

(note: you will need to be logged into your Community account for this link to work)

@dm250

You can try a network reset of your phone (this will erase your saved wifi passwords)

Maybe screenshot or copy and paste your APN settings.

One small typo may cause issues.

@dm250

does your phone has a newer OS you can update to?  Check and update it

And there might be a bit more work than simply updating.  Many confirmed that you need to delete the current APN profile first.  Then Add new profile and add according to this, please note case-sensitive and do not add extra spaces.  Remember to save the new APN and then reboot the phone before you try
