I recently ported my number from Rogers and now my SMS isn't working. I've tried turning my phone off and on, and resetting network settings, but no luck. The support team suggested erasing and resetting my phone, but I don't have enough iCloud storage and will lose all my photos. Any other recommendations? I have an iPhone.

you can't test your esim on another phone
go to iMessage settings, remove the phone number and reboot phone. Then go back and and add the number back to re-register

@Lux99 Can you try turning off iMessage and turn off face time , then shut phone off for 2-5 mins , then turn phone back on and turn on iMessage and face time and test again

I have an eSIM, so I am not sure if I need to get a physical sim to try that option

If you have enough storage to download the Google Photo app?
You can use the app to have all you photo transferred automatically and you can delete the photos on your iPhone.

@Lux99 Go to Settings - Messages - Send and Receive and make sure your phone number is checked and not just email addresses. Also make sure Send as SMS is enabled.
