EXT (Rogers Network) Available while Public Mobile network is active and available?

I am just driving on highway 3 and I am able to select between TELUS and Rogers network.

 Calls, texts and data all work. Data is slow. 

And I am on PLMN 302720 with no reported outages from Telus within the area.

 Also public Mobile network works.

 Now in Fernie and still on EXT. Public still works.

Gonna wait and see how long it will last.

 Will post pictures of it working. LTE only 

EDIT: Seemed to last till Elko

EDIT 2: Now can be re activated. Just a little slower switchover.

@golfball - Odd. Took me 30 seconds to a minute to switch from Public Mobile to EXT.

Maybe there is trial periods of TELUS having EXT everywhere like Rogers.

Doesn't work for me, it must be the area you're in.
