Hi, I just bought a brand new OnePlus 12r with oxygen os 14 (android 14) but the MMS message doesn't work, I had this problem on my old OnePlus 7t earlier this year and it was stated that if i had a up to date phone the APN would have been published correctly well guess what they're not. That's a big frustration and add to that the fact that putting the setting I had on my previous phone doesn't work. I tried 2 different messaging application and they both react the same way MMS wont go thru.
Here is my current settings:
Name: Mobile Internet
APN: sp.mb.com
proxy: not defined
port: not defined
username: not define
password: not define
server: not define
MMSC: http://aliasredirect.net/proxy/mb/mmsc
proxy MMS: 74.49.0.18
MMS port: 8799
MCC: 302
MNC: 220
Auth: not define
APN Type: default,mms,agps,spl,fota,hipri
APN protocol: ipv4
roaming APN: ipv4
Network: unspecified
MVNO type: GID
MVNO value: 4D4F
Can anyone tell me what's wrong and how I can finally fix that or do I simply need to change for a new reliable service provider.

Hi, I created a new access point called public mobile with these settings:
APN: SP.MB.COM
Proxy:
Port:
Username: <blank>
Password: <blank>
Server:
MMSC: http://aliasredirect.net/proxy/mb/mmsc
MMS Proxy: mmscproxy.mobility.ca
MMS Port: 8799
MCC: 302
MNC: 220
Authentication Type: Not Set
APN Type: default,supl,mms
(from my reading no other APN type should exist here, supl is probably also even not needed)
Reference: https://tamingthedroid.com/apn-type
APN protocol: IPv4
APN roaming protocol: IPv4
APN enable/disable: APN enabled
or Turn APN on/off APN turned on
Bearer: Unspecified
MVNO (Mobile virtual network operator) type: GID
MVNO (Mobile virtual network operator)value: 4D

With OnePlus, there might be a bit more work than simply updating. Many confirmed that you need to delete the current APN profile first. Then Add new profile and add according to this, please note case-sensitive and do not add extra spaces. Remember to save the new APN and then reboot the phone before you try
APN: sp.mb.com
(or try all upper case SP.MB.COM)
Proxy:
Port:
Username: <blank>
Password: <blank>
Server:
MMSC: http://aliasredirect.net/proxy/mb/mmsc
MMS Proxy: mmscproxy.mobility.ca
MMS Port: 8799
MCC: 302
MNC: 220
Authentication Type: Not Set
APN Type: default,supl,mms
or default,mms,agps,supl,fota,hipri
(might need to include DUN for hotspot, please note case sensitive)
APN protocol: IPv4
APN roaming protocol: IPv4
APN enable/disable: APN enabled
or Turn APN on/off APN turned on
Bearer: Unspecified
MVNO (Mobile virtual network operator) type: GID
MVNO (Mobile virtual network operator)value: 4D
or 4D4F
