Number transfer issue

Trentaroonie

While transferring my number over from my previous service provider I never received phone service from public mobile. Now I am without service from either provider. It's been approx 24hrs and is on a mobile device. Cannot find away to contact a public mobile service agent. Any tips?

@Trentaroonie if you were able to give one more days and call the porting team, the issue should be able to resolved and your PM service should be all good

Anyway,  enjoy your "old" provider  🙂

@Trentaroonie  Oh no I’m sorry to hear that, wish you could have gotten a resolve

Tried opening a ticket multiple times but website kept showing 404 error. Went back to original provider. Thanks for the concern

I've gone back to original provider. Thank you for the concern. Lost confidence after attempting to contact PM for assistance. Too many website 404 errors and no way of directly contacting them.

Thanks for the response. Did all of the above but eventually contacted previous provider again and reverted back to original plan. Thanks

@Trentaroonie You won't necessarily get a sms from PM.  Typically you'll get a SMS message from the old provider confirming you want to port out your number to another provider which you need to answer yes to.

At this point are neither PM or old provider SIM working for your number?  I will send you a private message with the dept at PM that does porting and they could work with you to try initiating the port again.

@Trentaroonie

if you have no service from your old provider, the porting was already completed then.  Just the sim setup wtih PM is outstanding.

Try to reboot you phone and see if the sim connects to the network and if you can make outgoing calls and use mobile data

and if that does not work, open a ticket with Support and have the sim card setup looked into.  Private message CS agent at

**Monitor your Community inbox (envelope icon on top right) after the ticket is opened.  CS Agent will reply to you there
