Can't install replacement eSim via app

Hey everyone,
I was dealing with a number porting issue and heard that installing a new eSim could fix it. So I deleted my current one and attempted to get a new eSim.
Now I'm in a pickle. The PM app keeps failing to install and eSim (saying something went wrong during installation).
I've already contacted support and they seem to think the only solution is getting a physical sim, which is NOT convenient for me to do.
Has anyone encountered this problem??
Phone is an S24U, I've tried resetting network settings, and restarting the phone, and eSim install still fails despite billing me all 3 times I tried.

I'm going to reply to my own question because I just got it to work and the solution is something others may need.
Turns out I had uninstall and reinstall the Public Mobile app to get it to proceed properly through the eSim installation. I had tried resetting network settings and restarting the phone, and it didn't work until I also reinstalled the app.
Hope this helps someone in the future.
I'm working to get reimbursed for the failed eSim purchases now...
