Hi I thought I was doing the right thing. I have two PM mobile accounts under two email addresses with separate phone numbers. I am trying to transfer one (main) number to the other account, so I only have one plan and one phone number. I go through the transfer number process however, i keep getting a “number is not valid” notification(?) Anyone recommend a fix?

Canada/USA/UK plan? PM never had a plan in the UK. Only 1000 minute for LD calling when calling from Canada.

@JPsi unfortunately it's not going to be straight forward. Your only option to save that number will be to port it out of Public Mobile to another company (you can try looking into Fongo as they seem to have an option for $5.95 but you'll want to read the details on how it works). Once it's been successfully ported out that Public Mobile account should be closed, then you can look at signing into the new Public Mobile account created with the 20GB Canada-US-Mexico plan and select transferring the original number back in. It's a bit of work but if the number is really important to you I don't know of any other way.

So I purchased another SIM card on another email addresses and can’t have the phone number I want AND to keep my current number, I have to switch providers to keep my number and get the subscription I want? There must be another way(?)

Unfortunately, you can only switch to those plans offered inside your account.

Sorry, but a phone number cannot be transferred from one Public Mobile account to another Public Mobile account.
