Phone arrived and no SIM card in phone or box.

@Edw It might take a bit of time as you probably open the ticket late yesterday
But, I would also send another message:
https://productioncommunity.publicmobile.ca/t5/notes/composepage/note-to-user-id/22437
and likely you will get a reply this morning or early afternoon

No response yet. First impressions are everything in my opinion.

You can get free ones!

Best deal around currently is definitely CCS and you get in a timely fashion too

It is called penny pinching. For something worth pennies or less; no SIM no service. Give me SIM for free and most people will eventually buy some add-on or upgrade plan.
How much cost those free palm size or bigger real-estate magnet calendars you get unsolicited? I bet you more than SIM.

Anyone can get a PM sim for under $10...they're currently offered for $3 at https://canadiancellsupplies.com/collections/sim-cards/products/public-mobile-multi-sim-card-3-in-1-.... I got a few when they offered them at $1.99.
Once this sim issue is straightened out...you're gonna be happy you turned to PM as your cell network. You might wanna get a couple of spare sims to gift to family or friends so they can take advantage of great cell service and great prices also.

Exactly! Same as government should provide tax software for free and not having 3rd party charging $20+ every year.

Rogers keeps sending me SIM cards trying to ask me to jump boat.

Yeah that seems to have been popping up quite a bit for people getting the CPO phones, hopefully it's something that can be cleaned up to keep customers happy with that side of things.

Yummy: For the sake of a piece of plastic barely worth pennies...just send another one. Someone took the time to ask. Just send it.
Yes it could be abused. For the sake of a piece of plastic barely worth pennies...just send one.

I have 29 days to return the phone.
To get things going...I'd follow suggestion provided by the venerable @darlicious . Just buy a sim locally and activate asap. Then get the CSA to credit your account with price of sim. That's gonna be quicker than waiting for them to send a sim all the way from Toronto..via Canada Post.

Shouldn't then somebody from higher ups than us customers talk to PM management and that 3rd party company or whoever to smarten up?
They are ruining PM refurbished phone enterprise and PM reputation.

@Edw if you need the SIM for activation, check local Mobile store and they likely will give it to you for free if you choose to activate in store.

HI@Edw Just open ticket with PM with the order number. Many members confirmed that they will ship it back for you for free or reimburse in some situation:
https://productioncommunity.publicmobile.ca/t5/notes/composepage/note-to-user-id/22437
After ticket is submitted, make sure to check your Community Inbox(top right corner envelope icon) periodically for response from PM's CS Agent

Note to agent might help but how one can prove that SIM is not received?
If I am agent I would really want in writing from my manager what to do in such situation. Tricky situation...

Send a message to CSA to get one coming.

edited to add link to CSA, and correct punctuation.
