@ae489  Another option is if your phone eSIM compatible you can just log into the app with phone and buy eSIM right away and save yourself a trip to the store also fastest way to get up and running again

Notice “purchase SIM card “ tap it and choose eSIM

See if there's a Mobile Klinik in your area as they usually have the PM sims available. Alternative...source one from Amazon...just don't get one from PM as it might be a long time before you get it due to Posties on strike.

@ae489

you just need a new sim, then log in to your account to Change Sim Number and you're good to go.

added...if you use the PM app, log in to your account / scroll down to Change Your Sim Card...then make the change.

hi @ae489

sim card rarely fails, did you try your sim on another phone? or try other active sim cards on your phone to confirm it is not a device problem?

To get new sim card, buy from Telus or Koodo store or via Amazon:

 Telus or Koodo store https://www.publicmobile.ca/en/on/pick-up-SIM
Amazon.ca https://www.amazon.ca/Public-prepaid-postpaid-Activate-Allinone/

Then message support agent and ask them to help to update your account with the new sim card:
