@DoyoonKim if you worry you forgot to renew every 85 days after the plan is suspended, you have another option
Port your number out to Fongo and port it back to PM or other provider when you are back. But there are goods and bads
The goods:
- less work, one time port out and one time port in
- no need to worry about the 85th days or no worry what happen if credit card payment didn't go though
- cost is only $25 to port into Fongo and free to port out after 3 months. Porting back will need a new sim but many mobile store will give out the SIM for free if you activate with them (worst case, cost is $10). Slightly cheaper than renew every 30+85 days
- you can extend your trip, come back later without more cost
- you can still use the phone service with Fongo. You can receive calls and texts, make calls on your Fongo apps like a real phone. (outgoing text is not fee but with a charge)
The bads:
- you will loss your current reward system. So, if you come back to PM, you will be on the new reward.
- If you have some fund in your Available Fund now and not used up before porting, you will loss them all

Here are the options for your pm service but it seems switching to the $15 plan once you are ready to leave and reactivating when necessary is your best plan of action.
Most important mark on your calendar day 85 of your suspension and day 90. Do not forget when you must unsuspend your account via lost/stolen and/or pay and reactivate your service so you don't lose your phone number and account. Happy travels and Stay--Safe!

If there isn't enough to renew the plan, you're right that it won't make a difference. The lost/stolen thing would likely only be done to prevent a plan renewal if there is enough balance already in the Public Mobile account. But in the case of there not already being enough funds in the account for renewal, the customer will want to make sure that autopay is disabled.

And use 1month and then click lost/stolen button again.
Is it good way for my phone number?
You could do this, but if there is a mistiming, the number will be lost. You may also wish to consider switching to the lowest priced $15 Public Mobile plan, but be aware that if you switch away from a plan, you will only be able to switch back to if it is still offered at that future time.
