Changing plan

February 28 $124.30 taken for the following 3 months from my visa. March 2nd I changed plan to Canada & US for $34 plus tax and paid eight my visa. I am guessing there’s a credit but I did not get any notice about that

There are 2 options when changing plans. If you select Change Now you get a warning that there are no refunds or credits. But it's worth a shot to contact an agent to ask. Don't expect it, but hope for the best.

@Chalupa_Batman  When changing plans, it's best to change it on the renewal date

I think sometimes how we say this gets misinterpreted to mean that you have to wait until the renewal date (or even the actual day which is even more risky) to make the change whereas what we mean is to select the "change on renewal" option which can be done at any time prior to renewal so that you don't miss out on an offer with a cutoff like the March 4 for the Canada/US $34 plan.  There's probably a better way to word it than I just did!

PM is more likely to be a pre-paid service. Based on my experience with Koodo pre-paid, you might not be able to have the unused balance back...

But just like other comments, ask for it.

hi @Andrzej1 sorry, early renewal or plan change won't have credit back. It has a big prompt saying that when you proceed with Change Now option

but don't give up yet, I think the amount is significant and support agent might be able to do something,  submit them a ticket and ask nicely

please submit a ticket with CS Agent using this Chatbot link:  https://widget.telus.tiia.ai/publicmobile/publicmobile.html  Type the question "Submit ticket", Then click the following in order: "Contact Us" ,  "Other",  "Log In".
If any issue with ticket submission, you can  submit by direct message:

@Andrzej1

if you changed plans immediately...you paid right away for new plan and lost whatever balance of old plan you had. You might ask Customer Support for credit to your account, but they might just decline your request as you made the change.

Hello @Andrzej1

When changing plans, it's best to change it on the renewal date. If you changed it for NOW... then there are no refunds. This is a pre paid service.  There are warnings telling you when you change it. Asking for now or at renewal date.
