How to Get this Offer: 

  1. Submit your email address here before Feb 28, 2021, 11:59PM EST
  2. Once your email address has been successfully submitted, you will receive a confirmation email with a promo code.
  3. Activate on an eligible plan online or in-store with the promo code before March 6, 2021, 11:59PM EST to redeem this offer.

 

How to Activate:

  1. If you need to purchase a SIM card, click here to order a SIM card online through Public Mobile. Your SIM card will be shipped within 3 to 7 business days (please expect a longer shipping time due to COVID-19 measures). You can also order your SIM card through Amazon, and choose your shipping speed. Alternatively, you can purchase a SIM card by locating a retailer near you. 
  2. Visit activate.publicmobile.ca to activate online, or activate in-store
  3. Bonus data and one-time add-on will be automatically applied to eligible rate plans within 30 days of activating, and for 8 months after activation.

Loyal customers never get any promos. I thought Public Mobile would be different, but I was wrong. All corporations are the same.

Honestly I can't imagine a better offer given how cheap the plans are to begin with!

If you unsubscribe from these you would also not recieve the occasional promotional offers that are offered to existing customers or freebies they give away. Compared to the amount of crap i get from other companies public mobile is quite restrained.

@Canadabear They send it to current customers so you can tell others. You can unsubscribe from the messages.

If this offer is only good for new accounts. Why keep sending to existing ones? I have received 4 notices and it hangs when downloading.  No indication that it is from PM.   You need to know the phone code. Annoying.

As existing user, how can I get the lunar new year offer. If this offer is only for new activations, existing customers will be forced away to other providers who also has similar offer. So do I.

Unfortunately due to the poor wording of this promotion you have fallen victim to upgrading to a plan that offers the promotion for new customer activations only. If you are so inclined you could argue the point with tbe moderators and ask to be reverted back to the $15/plan or just enjoy your plan ! And schedule a change back to the $15 on your next renewal.

Hello, I upgraded my plan from the $15 plan to the $25 plan as of February 1st which is my new cycle date. I tried adding the Lunar New Year Offer but keep getting an error message saying that I am not eligible for the offer. How can I activate?

 

I should be eligible since I've upgraded my plan from the $15 to $25 plan...

As of today 2/8, I've tried entering the code again, but it still says I'm inelegible.

 

Please help.

This promo is only for new accounts. You can't apply it to your existing account...sorry.

Which would make it pretty weird to receive a text about the offer then... unless it's intended as an incentive to refer a friend.

The offer IS for everyone. But ONLY on a new account activation. There is no way to add it to an existing account.

I dont' think so.....you needed the diwali promotion in November. You could always ask the moderators but I would wait a couple of weeks to do that because the moderators are backed up with support requests causing long wait times and very frustrated customers who have urgent issues such as no service. Near to your first renewal contact them and ask if they would  make the change.....I doubt it but if you have success please report back with it.
