Are there any $10 plan users still out there? When I originally signed up 6years ago I was on a $10 basic plan. It seems now that PM is no longer interested in providing basic service below the $15 price point. The $15 plan worked out to only $8 after loyalty and autopay credits, but that is no longer the case.
With those credits gone, PM is no longer competitive with Freedom mobile or even parent company Telus who both offer $100/year service (just over $8/month).
Is there any plan in the works to retain the customers who were paying less than $10/month for basic service? Or is the plan to just annex them completely?

Telus and Freedom both offer $100 and $99 a year unlimited calling texting. That works out to less than $9/month

PM has $15 plan for new activation only, the lowest plan for existing customers is $19.
Othere provides have cheaper plans.
Telus yearly plan for 2 years is great for customers who don’t need data, same coverages as PM, but cheaper.

The problem is that you are locked for 1 year with the $100/365 day plan.
Only Fizz comes close with a $10/month plan for talk & text.
Or just download the TextNow app for free unlimited calling and texting through wifi…nothing beats FREE and free wifi is available everywhere.

OK. Show me ONE provider offering unlimited calls/sms for $15. Actually it is $161/year when you convert points to $ and apply to your bill. (actually it is $165 as you cannot redeem all $19 in points).

@smurfit My Dad was on the $10 plan, but PM cancelled it and forced my dad into the $13 plan a few years ago. He still has the $13 plan.
My father-in-law is on a Telus $25 unlimited voice plan which has been reduced to $10 per month as a result of loyalty discount.

I doubt they will ever do that.
Almost all companies have basic plan for $15 as per some regulations and none of the companies what to sell product cheaper then they are forced to do.
And why should not Canadians pay the MOST expensive mobile service in the world??? We are all rich, aren't we...

Telus has to compliant with the CRTC rules on the low ends plan while PM is not bounded by that rule, so I think Telus decided to take on that low end plans market and leave PM with the mid-ends

PM lost all the advantage to stick with it. Freemobile / Telus /Fizz a lot of choices.

@smurfit I don't think PM will come back with the $10 plan.
Yes, we used to have it, and some regulars and members here thought it was "Price for life", but PM raised the price to $13.
Given that they have the $15 unlimited talk/text plan now and they don't have too many choices for plans below $25, I don't see PM will bring this back.

HI @smurfit
i doubt it. at this time, PM only has the $15 talk/text plan.
If Telus $10 is the one you like , go for it. It is the same great network
