I received an email from a moderator about the porting phone number. Not
sure if it was sent to me in error but they mentioned the Telus porting
phone# is for internal use only and should not be posted in the
community forum.
Retailers are suppose to sell you the sim. Dealers get a commission when
they activate a sim card for a customer. It is hard for Public mobile to
control retailers.
If it is a recognized toll free number then it should not count towards
