Hi, can I set op voice mail on my phone and if so how do I go about setting it up?

You're right, I did not give the full number. I was referring back to the full number provided by the other user.

My account is active with minutes available.

I am in Ontario and in Canada.

I can make calls.

So we're exactly clear just in case...you dialed 1-778-580-4001? Is your account active? If you're on the $15 plan do you still have minutes available? Are you remotely possibly on an old provincial plan and not in BC? Are you able to call other numbers? Are you in the states?

When I dialled the 778 number, I got a recorded message " Hi Public mobile here, your call cannot be completed as dialled, please check your number and dialled again"

What "did not work"? The 778 number or the ## code?

you submit a ticket with agent yet? Since it could take an hour or two for them to reply, submit first while you trying other tricks

Manually dial the 778 number then enter your number and see how far you get. You might need to reset the password in the account or try your 10 digit phone number as a password.
Then also dial ##002# to reset call forwarding (that voicemail uses).

what phone do you have?

usually you can try to click Reset All networks and the voicemail key will be programed for you

If it is still not programed, go to dialer app, click settings, look for voicemail and program this number yourself

press and hold the number 1 key and you should be able to call your voicemail to set up.

Your voicemail password can be accessed and updated on your self-serve account under your profile tab.
