US Roaming Packages

Can someone tell me what the difference is between the 3* US roaming add-on packages? I am from Canada but I will be travelling to the US in a couple weeks and would like to be able to use my phone while I’m there. I noticed there are three options but I don’t know what the best option is or what the meaning of each offer is.

@EmilieHeather

how long do you plan to stay in US on this trip ? Perhaps better to upgrade your current plan to a plan that includes Canada - US features.

Do you know if your phone has been enabled for volte here yet? That makes all the difference for talk. If not then there's only one option for talk and your phone has to be able to do it and you have to be in a coverage area.

It really depends if you just are just calling & texting.

If you need data for googling to do research while down in the USA then the 3gb data package would be a better fit. Remember, there are always free WiFi available so the calling and texting would be better and at a lower fee.

You will need to connect to T-Mobile or AT&T on your phone for calling and texting.

The best for you would depend on if you need one or more of call, text messaging, or data, and if you need data, how much data you need.  The other option would be to consider changing to a plan that already includes roaming.
