I purchased an add on for the US and am unable to make calls. Each time I try I receive a message: “call failed”

@Dwhit If your problem is solved then VoLTE doesn't matter, you probably have it, but whether you see a setting for it depends on your phone. Some, such as most iPhones on Public Mobile, are enabled for VoLTE but there is no setting for it. On android it should be somewhere in the network and internet settings or under connections. What phone do you have?

which state are you visiting ...the PM roaming add-on doesn't work in Alaska, unless you have a volte enabled phone.

Hi @Dwhit Login My Account using Incognito/private/secret mode on your browser to confirm you bought the proper Addons
And try manually connect to T-Mobile or AT&T

Critical part to US roaming depends on T-Mobile/AT&T coverage and whether you can connect successfully onto either network.
If the phone is not connecting to T-Mobile/AT&T, change the Network Connection from Automatic to Manual and select and test both T-Mobile and AT&T and see which one you can connect.
with voice problem, make sure VoLTE is enabled on the device setting. And if it does not work, try to change the Network to T-Mobile ONLY, and change Preferred Network Type or Network Mode to 2G and see if the calls go through.
Also, you can download VoIP app TextNow as a workaround to make calls and text if you have Wifi or if your roaming has data component and data is working

@Dwhit Double check you bought the correct US add on for 15 days and not just long distance mins or 30 day data add on .and reboot the phone and make sure your connected to TMobile or AT&T and the you have data roaming turned on in phone settings . Also do you know if you phone / account has voLTE . If you did buy wrong add on contact support to see if they can reverse it for you to buy correct one
