Unable to call usa toll free numbers

Hello I am unable to call usa 1 800 toll free numbers. Where as I am able to call same number from my rogers phone.

This has actually been reported several times on these forums. I've asked folks to try *67 before the number you want as it blocks your number. I've wondered if that would work but... can't confirm. Can you try and let us know?

Blocking your number will have no effect.  Phone companies know the phone number that your'e calliing from regardless of blocking the number or not.  Also, when specific toll free numbers only accept calls from certain places, it's not based on call display information.

As mentioned, a few posts about similar problems that last few weeks/months. 

Maybe try a reboot of your phone.  Network reset of phone (note: this will erase any saved Wifi passwords).  If I remember correctly, one members said that when he toggle airplane mode and then off, then he was able to call 1-800 number. 

Some need to contact customer service agent to reset their account on the backend.

@Kartheekc Some Toll free numbers can be geographically restricted. The problem is not with Public Mobile. Some companies restrict what areas can call them with their toll free number.  Try it from a landline if you can and I suspect you wont connect from their either. **Is your Rogers Phone a different area code than you PM phone number?
