Trying to sign up my wife to a new account - credit cards not accepted

I want to sign my wife up for a Public Mobile Account. I get to the end of the sign-up process and my credit cards are not accepted. I tried two of them, including the one I use for my account. I have entered all of the info properly. I used a different browser and tried to do it from within my account and from without. I am out of ideas.

I went into the website incognito. This time my credit card was accepted. Problem solved. Thank you everyone.

That is not a problem. Same credit card can be use for multiple accounts.

You cannot do it 'from your account'

New account opening is independent process of any other account.

It looks like you tried all possible remedies. I assume you used unique email to open new account.

What error do you get?

If your credit card is not charged I would try in 1-2 hours again with Chrome/Edge, clean cache, etc.

If it does not work contact agent to help you out. I am out of any further ideas 😞

Also, I'm using the same credit card I use for my own account. It works fine for me.

Already tried a different browser. Will try incognito next.

@kenross55 I guess they are credit cards issued by Canadian or US institutions?

 

Try again using Incognito mode or try on another different browser and sew if it works
