Pre-paid plan auto pay discount

I have just signed up with Public Mobile pre-paid plan and auto pay on Feb. 1 2022, do I get the monthly $2 discount? It does not show up on my statement or next payment amount.

Good or bad ... no point discussing that like all the old plans PM used to offer.

All new connections now are on points system and there is no option to go back on rewards system for subscribers on points system.

@cd_poonster  - I believe if you are thinking about better in terms of $'s saved, then for those customers in lower cost plans, less than $40 per 30 days, there will be a slight advantage on the older rewards system.

If you are at the $40 or more than it may be more equal or more $ saving on the new rewards system.

But hey - it is better than nothing!

In the announcement of the new rewards system, here is the link: https://productioncommunity.publicmobile.ca/t5/Announcements/Introducing-Public-Points-Rewards/td-p/...

go to the bottom of it and see an excel calculator.

It is a handy tool that can give you a comparison of savings.

@cd_poonster   Tell you the truth, it is NOT.

But, there is still something good about it

1. you get 5% points back for All spending include Add-ons, old system does not that $ back for add-ons

2. you enjoy around 33% off for most add-ons using points to purchase compare with the old system

3. You can use as low as 1 point to get into Lucky Draw and win some goodies which we don't have in the old system.

🙂

The $15 plan automatically gets the 250mb regardless of autopay being enabled

Only you can answer that 🙂

Some like it some do not.

There is handy spreadsheet provided by PM where you can determine reward amount.

@cd_poonster

Unfortunately you are automatically enrolled in the points program and in lieu of the autopay reward you now earn 5% back in points for all "monies" spent in your account. You should see 0.75 pts added to your 5pt welcome bonus in your points account.

Hi @cd_poonster

$2 discount for Autopay is no more.

@cd_poonster   The new Public Points no longer has $2 Autopay rewards.  However, you still need to enable Autopay to get bonus 500MB data (or 250Mb for $15 plan)

I believe with new Points rewards, there is no more autopay reward.
