What if I am out the country and want to pause my account for more than 90 days and want to keep my number?

@Marybrune

another option would be to activate an new plan with Telus, port your number to that new account until you get home..then either get a new sim to start a new plan with PM or stay with Telus. They currently have a plan that costs you $100 and is good for 365 days of talk/text and some data (2 GB's / 30 days using the promo code)

@Marybrune  Yes you can turn off auto subscribe and your plan won’t renew. But it’s important to pay attention to your renewal date . You can leave suspended for 90 days if you go longer then 90 days the account will be closed and number gone

so on the 85-87 day   make manual  payment for a month (30days) and and then turn auto subscribe back off and you can rinse and repay this process for long as you like

Turn auto subscribe off/on

hi @Marybrune you can do that

just suspend Autopay.  Login My Account , Payment, Manage Subscription and toggle off Subscribed there.  Account will then be suspended at the end of the current cycle

remember you have 90 days to resume service or you will lose your number

So, before the 90 days, come back and resume service for one month. The service will renew for 30 days and it won't renew again if you keep the autopay off.  Just repeat this 90 days-30 days cycle until you are back

but how long you plan to leave country?
