Hi everyone. I can make calls and send text but I cannot receive text and calls from others. Could you help me to resolve the issue?

I have never received text once I make transfer. And I have never received calls from non public mobile customers.

I have got the text from Chatr right after transfer request and replied immediately, so it was definitely within 90 mins.

Thanks for the number, I will try to reach them tomorrow morning.

Yes, you got the text from Chatr and you replied YES, but you could have got the text late and missed the 90 mins timeframe. 

There is a number to call to talk to live support,  they can confirm the porting status for you.  I will message the number to you via the Community inbox ( https://productioncommunity.publicmobile.ca/t5/notes/privatenotespage ) .  Check the envelope icon on top right.  Call them tomorrow morning and and get it fixed (sorry, they are closed for tonight already)

 

@AlexStzone  So call the number I send you private message and just give them chatr account number and not the IMEI and they will re trigger the port request for you

@DDM69 I’m connected to PM network. I can make calls and sms, I have fine 5g connection but others cannot call or text me.

Hi @Handy1 , yes, I joined PM just few weeks ago and tried to transfer my number from Chatr to PM. I have received message from Chatr about transfer and replied “yes” but then I received sms from PM:

”Hey, it's Public Mobile. We're having trouble transferring your number. Looks like you entered an incorrect ESN/MEID. Someone from our team will contact you shortly using your original phone number or the alternate number provided. You can also get in touch via our virtual assistant at: https://publicmobile.ca.ada.support/chat”

 

but no one reach me.

@AlexStzone  Did you just join PM and try to port number in did your reply YES to old provider confirmation text to port ? Or miss the text ? If this is the case no worries I’ll send you the porting team number private message , as we not allowed to post it here and get it fixed

It seems the transfer was incorrect. Is there a way to repeat the transfer procedure?
