Hi there,
I cannot make phone calls on my phone. It says no network I can still text. What should I do to fix this problem?

A customer's phone could still have signal even if the phone isn't VoLTE capable. However, a no signal situation is also possible if the phone isn't able to connect if the phone isn't able to connect to an LTE or 5G network. As for Colls8 reporting that text messaging is possible, these might not actually be SMS text messages. These messages might be going through RCS or an instant messaging app. SMS text messaging services wouldn't be available when there's no cellular signal.

If you are using a normal sim card please try it in another phone.
Resetting network settings can help as well...

Which model phone are you using?
There have been issues with talk with the Public mobile network recently. PM has sent warning texts to affected customers. Public mobile has been changing the 3G network (switching 3G 850 MHz band to LTE).

If your phone is not VoLTE compatible with the PM network and the 850 MHz 3G band is not available in your area, your talk services will be affected. Here is some information about VoLTE compatible phones with PM:

OK, good. If using a hard sim, can you remove it and try it in a different cellphone ? (ignore if using esim)
Try rebooting cell to see if that helps.

did you recently activate a new Public Mobile account or is this problem with an existing account ?
