I’ve been charged for a purchase of an add-on (extra data), but it’s not working.

I can see the purchase in my bank account, but Public Mobile is showing no record of it on my account here. I want a refund or the data that I paid for because it’s not working.

Try To Purchase Add-Ons Using Your Self-Serve Account

To purchase Add-Ons using your Self-Serve account, follow these steps:

  1. Click on ‘Purchase Add- Ons’ on the Overview tab and scroll down to the Add-On calculator.
  2. Click the plus sign (+) to add and the minus sign (-) to remove selected Add-ons.
  3. When you’ve added all your desired Add-Ons, click ‘Buy Add-Ons’ or ‘Make a Payment’ below the calculator:
    • You will see ‘Make a Payment’ instead of ‘Buy Add-Ons’ if there are not enough funds in your account to make the purchase.
    • If you don’t have sufficient funds to purchase the Add-Ons, you will be asked to make a one-time payment equal to the price of the Add-On, less your current available funds. Click ‘Submit’, then ‘Go back’: now the button below the calculator will say ‘Buy Add-Ons’.
  4. Select ‘Confirm my purchase’, and you’re off to the races!
  5. after you Add-on you have to do Rebooting your phone

what is mean for Rebooting the phone means to turn off your phone and turn it back on again.

Overview Of Add-Ons visit Here link.

Cheers!

Your self serve account is like a vending machine. First you have to add the money. Then you make your selection, confirm and submit your payment to purchase it. Then your selection drops into your bottom right corner of your overview page.

You can view your purchases in your transaction/payment history. You will see a manual credit top up of the amount you added thinking you were purchasing an add on. Then once you purchase it you will see the add on in your transaction history with its purchase price debited from your balance.

@Gremmadi2  Buying add-on is a 2 steps process.  1. Load fund and 2. actual buying of the add-on

Many people missed step 2 and this is likely your case.

If you login to your My Account, you should see the amount sitting there as Available Fund.

If so, you can now head to Add-on page and buy your add-on

Hope it helps

Log in to your Account and look at Available Funds to see if the $$ are sitting there. If so, now go back again to actually buy your desired add-on.
